Will Obama’s close relationship to the racist Pastor Jeremiah Wright hurt his chance in the general election?

As many people know right away Obama was most appropriate friends with a extremist priest Jeremiah Wright for a final twenty years!

Will this harm his chances in a ubiquitous election?

I am not an Obama supporter, But, I don’t understand how being friends with someone means that you support what they support. How many times will Senator Obama have to repudiate Wright’s statements?
How many years have Falwell and Robertson spewed their hate filled messages? They are against everyone and anyone who thinks differently than do they, however, no one accuses the politicians who know and associate with them. The one and only reason that people backed away from Obama regarding Pastor Wright, is that they had misgivings in the first place, and this gave them a safe spot to place those feelings.
The idea the Mrs. Obama is not patriotic is stupid. Anyone with half a brain should be able to understand what she ( as a Black and a Woman in America ) meant by her statement.
Too much media slanting, I would hope that voters, wheather they are Democratic or Republican, will be smart enough to find the real issues.

    Obviously it won’t help.

My guess is that the Republican’s will use it as their primary attack seeing as they can’t touch Obama on the issues. They are going to try and paint Obama as a hater of the United States. Wright will play into that attack on Obama. Ironically at the same time they will play the Obama is a radical Muslim card.

Have you been under a rock for the last 3 weeks?

Is McCain’s close relationship to the racist Rev. Hagee going to hurt his chance in the general election.

As most people know now McCain was best friends with the racist pastor Hagee for the last 20 years.

Will this hurt his chances in the general election?

Give it a rest – both of these are non-issues.

It’s not going to hurt him. It will hurt with a few folks, like yourself, who believe the mess you type. With people like me, I’ve already forgotten about the whole thing. Rev. Who? If that’s all they’ve got, it’s not good enough. It isn’t something Obama actually did.

    Obama 08!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  13. BIG BOPPER Says:

I hope so…..All decent and moral people should & must remember this when they enter the voting booth in November.

…and religion means so much… or it should anyway !

Tell me … what does George Bushes "religion" mean to him?

Starting an unjust war where millions are killed and injured ?

Borrowing trillions of dollars from China to pay for this war and our children and grandchildren will responsible for this debt ?
Helping Katrina victims in a timely way ? Sending them unsafe trailors to live in that may cause them to to get cancer later in life ?

Yeah, Jesus would be proud! :(

  15. Lee B Says:

Yes even though it came out in the primary season it will linger on whether or not more attack ads come out later which they probably will. His judgment is in question and rightfully so.
