What are your thoughts on the claim that Obama makes that he didn’t know his pastor was racist?
OK, so you know Obama’s priest of twenty years is extremist opposite whites. Obama "claims" he didn’t know this? What have been your thoughts about it?

He lies through his teeth.
He went to this mans church regularly for 20 years, was married by him, prayed with him, had his kids baptized by him, and didn’t know this? Rubbish.
Apart from anything else, these evil rants were all on videos that the church sold in their own gift shop, so they weren’t exactly secret.

Just because his pastor is racist doesn’t mean obama is. What I mean is… maybe the world interprets his actions as racist and therefore obama is forced to say that he didn’t know his pastor was "racist" when in reality he’s not racist… just very concerned with the predicament of the black people and the black race. I personally believe a pastor should have no cultural inclinations.

Sounds like Obama is a B.S. opportunist just like Kerry was when he was and will say whatever sound byte his people has determined is popluar by public opinion and say that is his opinion.

I find it hard to believe this is a first time the pastor made such disparaging remarks.
The fact that Obama sat there for 20 years listening to such nonsence as reported by the media makes my ponder what goes on in the mans mind. Does this make Obama a racist…no! Does is make me question the decision to continue listening to such nonsence from a pastor….AYUP!

I think his pastor is a raging racist, and Obama’s spiritual life has been tainted by that–he freely CHOSE to be a member of that church for 20 years–that makes him a racist too, IMO.

we all have admired are looked up to someone wheather a teacher ,doctor, big brother ,grandma, whomever someone we trusted to the bitter end only to find out much later they really was not who we pictured them to be and it broke our hearts and i can feel the hurt this man must feel right now if we would search ourselves we could feel it too, and putting him down is like putting ourselves down because he comes with not only black hertriage but white
