The blacks that were around in the 50’s and 60’s had it very hard in America. Blacks of today are better off than they were back in those days. This is suppose to be a reverend?     he is a very important person. anyone in a parish knows his name. he has met with political leaders, political scholars, and many intellectuals.

    and i know from experience that he gets uncomfortably truthful. bt these examples are all taken out of context. he generally relates them back to scripture.

    i don’t get it. yes there’s people in every race who are racists against other races. but if wright is sick of whitey running everything then why don’t he go be a someone who runs something or who is considered important in his eyes and others. look around wright there’s been black doctors, judges, congressmen, teachers, scientist, financial advisories. you will not be any of those things and neither will anyone who listens and believes you. quit holding down the people who you won’t to succeed

    Apparently the white man is the enemy, Pearl Harbor was a conspiracy, HIV was a gov’t/white man conspiracy, the LAPD routinely frauds evidence, America is the same as Al Qaeda, the US is a racist superpower, oral sex is an appropriate topic for church, Condeleeza Rice is a whore, America is guilty of terrorism, Americans should be saying “God damn America”, etc, etc. As a man of God, I respect him, but his anti-American opinions are dangerous.

    Then don’t be so quick to generalize, by your own admission you are part of the “black community” yourself. And to be told that you cannot dislike or talk about how your relatives were treated, is just re-victimizing the injustices done all over again. They have a right to their outrage, and loss irregardless of a time frame. You don’t get to make that call. And,How you derive extortion without a payoff is baffling. As every generation is born these same issues will resurface. Do you know why?

    btw – of all the black Americans I know, including my family, they’ve NEVER blamed “the white man” – but that’s because they live in reality and know the FACTS, irrespective of their “feelings” or how the black community likes to extort the American population for a once unfortunate period in our history.

    the rev. who espouse his comments regarding race, is himself indulging in racism because he is either ignorant of the fact that blacks sold blacks or he is willfully misrepresenting history to appear like a victim, advance his agenda and silence opposition to his rhetoric.
