ur confusing preaching and pastoring…every christian is to preach the good news. the job of a pastor is to oversee (1 Timothy 3:1) and be a rule(1 timothy 5:17) over the church.

I agree. Mine preaches on street corners at intersections. He also lets his children hold signs with scripture wrote on them. Christians need to be more bold and unashamed.

Preachers are everywhere…and they preach everywhere. I have never met a preacher who did not allow everyone to get the message. But preachers fulfill different roles,

Pastors generally care for a specific flock of believers…and ALL are welcome to attend. They also go out and help nurture those who are not able to get out…such as those in prison or hospitals, or care homes. Plus, pastors can be found going door to door like we do…sharing the Good News while also inviting others to attend our church. That IS answering the call of CHRIST!

Missionaries go out into the parts of the world that may not have heard the Good News. They are pastors, who preach in churches they built, but away from their home. They can be domestic or foreign bound missionaries. So, they are also answering the call of CHRIST.

Evangelists are traveling preachers…who also carry the Good News to people all around the world. Sometimes they preach in churches, sometimes they preach in tents, sometimes they preach in stadiums, and sometimes they preach at outside gatherings. They too are answering the call of CHRIST.

According to the Holy Bible, JESUS did speak in the temple on several occasions, too. But He did not pastor any churches. Rather JESUS was an evangelist…the Greatest Evangelist that ever preached!

So, it is incorrect to try and compare a pastor to an evangelist.

    Brother,
I am Raja Rock from Pakistan. I have studied your site and saw there are differnet languages in that. I wish to see your material into Urdu, Punjabi and Sirike languages. I am one of the best translators in my area. I have been working in a news paper as a translator of Urdu and Punjabi languages. I wish to help you for this to translate your material that is needed to be really spread to the people known to these languages. I will be looking forward for your response on it. This will work better for the Urdu, Punjabi and Sirike speakers to understand the knowledge of God into their own languages.
in the matchless name of Jesus,
