yeah man, people try to defend JZ to the max cuz they don’t want to give up that music. That was real bogus man life starts when the church ends???? that means he saying Jesus is nothing and (for all you professing Christians out there) life begins when you die because you are the church. i don’t know about yall but thats no one who i want to be supporting. I don’t believe that the issue is whether we as Christians should be offended or not because the Bible teaches that it is to a man’s glory to overlook an offense. Rather, we should be asking if it is even worth our time to examine the context of this particular lyric. As a Christian, I make it a point to protect my ears from such music. Listening to such overtly anti-christian music is counter productive to our walk with Jesus Christ.
