I don’t believe that the issue is whether we as Christians should be offended or not because the Bible teaches that it is to a man’s glory to overlook an offense. Rather, we should be asking if it is even worth our time to examine the context of this particular lyric. As a Christian, I make it a point to protect my ears from such music. Listening to such overtly anti-christian music is counter productive to our walk with Jesus Christ.

I just want to say as a christian, not all christians agree with what he saying. As a christian I understand that “context” is everything. Taking things out of context is why many unbelievers have a problem with scripture because they arrive to a false conclusion based on false knowledge.
