i don’t know if that’s true or not, but i do know that God doesn’t just use perfect people. He uses who He deems fit because His main and only objective is to SAVE SOULS!

very, very true…couldn’t agree more with you. And yes the law of moses is done with, it kills me to see Christians still mixing grace with the law of moses, those two cannot co-exist.

“Bring all the tithe into the storehouse and I will pour you out a blessing that you will not have room receive” – God’s word CANNOT return to Him void. The Bible is not a menu to pick and choose from. Don’t be deceived. God does not change and His law stands FOREVER. (not the law of Moses which was carried outside the ark – ppl please read the Word before you comment/lead ppl astray)

poepows… you are so on point! I am not a member of a local church neither do I TITHE, and guess what, I’m still blessed.. I too no longer live under the curse of man but the Blood of JESUS! I often visit some churches and it simply behooves me the people that are perishing for the lack of knowledge…listening to the sharpness and the craftiness of these wolves in sheeps clothing.. it is so hurtful…

deciding for yourself is what christianity is all about. you have to choose or choose not to accept God through Jesus Christ

It also tells me Luke 6:38
Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again

Malachi 3 8-11
MY Bible tells me: Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings.
9Ye are cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed me, even this whole nation.
10Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.

Bro. thomascfoley123, you made a sarcastic remark about people not reading their bible, then you say that tithe was under the law. Tithing was before the Law, but you probably knew that because you read your bible. The “Law” didn’t come into effect until hundreds of years after Abraham, who himself paid tithes. The “Law” was given after the exodus. For inclusion’s sake we call the first 5 books of the bible “the Law”, eventhough Genesis is technically not a law book.

Either blessed or cursed, everybody has to decide for theirselves.

“CARE ABOUT PEOPLE”….Nuff Said!
January 27th, 2010 at 2:53 pm
If you give a tithe then you better bring it to the high priest and that is not a pastor that is the one who serves Jerusalem according to Leviticus. You better honor the sabbath and bring in calf or dove offerings.
God requires blood on the altar not cash. OH I forgot you dont read your bible because in Hebrew 7 he clearly absolved the tithe. The tithe was under the law a system of works. The new testament is called give to those in need. Not these kinds of preachers but to eachother.
