Thank you for your comments. I know God is a healer because I don’t hurt anymore and I have forgiven those who hurt me, not for them but for my own sake, so as not to block the blessings that God have for me. I had to go through it because it was all apart of the testimony that God was birthing in me. God is blessing me to write a book about my life and with God’s help it is going to help other’s heal. To God be all the glory. God has healed me and made me whole. I know God loves me.

GOD WILL GET THE GLORY FROM YOUR LIFE!! One important thing to please remember is not to hold that against them- FORGIVE and RELEASE them- don’t allow UNFORGIVENESS to take root..and again “GOD BLESS YOU”
April 8th, 2010 at 6:12 pm
AMEN! GOD BLESS YOU!! HE IS A HEALER! Most times hurting people hurt others, often times major hurts and disappointments come from people in the church. We just have to pray for everybody- Satan will use any willing vessel..

All my life people in church have tried to make me feel like I was nothing or a nobody because I didn’t have what they had. They looked down on me. I even allowed them to run me from God. It took God restoring me and healing me making me finally realize that I was always somebody to him regardless what other’s may have thought of me. I was always God’s child and it had nothing to do with what I had or didn’t have. God has always love me and loved on me. To God be the glory.

there are many things in the bible, and if one with the wrong mind and heart were to read certain scriptures they could manipulate it to mean what they want it to mean. the bible has stood the test of time through many generations. you cannot critisize it without studying it and understanding under which content each book was wriiten. like the slavery textx. if you know God there should be no doubt in your mind that he is against slavery. Gods message is about love. THIS MAN IS AWESOMMEE

This sounds so intelligent but it is so far off base. Since when did OT law become a scam. Christ fulfilled it he didn’t abolish it, we are not to ignore them we are just no longer bound by them. Jesus talks about tithing to the Pharisees (Matt 23:23) If you are truly a NT giver then tithing is not a problem.
April 8th, 2010 at 6:12 pm
matthew 23:23 read it and see what Jesus said about tithing.

“You may purchase slaves and their children treating them as property, passing them on to your children as inheritance.” (Leviticus 25:44-46 NLT)
“Slaves, obey your earthly masters with deep respect and fear. Serve them sincerely as you would serve Christ.” Ephesians 6:5
“Masters, treat your slaves the same way. Do not threaten them, for you know that both of you have the same Master in heaven, and there is no favoritism with him.” Ephesians 6:9
God, on how to make slavery work.

Christianity is hurtful, rude, mean and down right not needed.
It’s also petty, unjust, vindictive, bloodthirsty, misogynistic, homophobic, racist, infanticidal, genocidal, filicidal, pestilential, self-contradicting, megalomaniacal, sadomasochistic, capriciously malevolent, and slavery condoning:
“You may purchase slaves from the foreigners among you. You may purchase their children treating them as property, passing them on to your children as inheritance. (Leviticus 25:44-46)

What is heartbreaking about your statement is that I sincerely believe that you do read the word. But you simply do not understand the word. If you can read it and take only bits and pieces out and only use part, you will never receive the fullness of the whole. It is the same as those that plead God’s promises but violate His principles. Go back and read the word again. The tithe is biblical, both then and now. It is part of covenant. Please go back and read my dear.

why when it comes to christianity we have to have so many hurtful, rude, mean, and down right not needed comments. yall not saying this to beyonce, or ciara, or lil mama or any other rapper, so why such a big discusission!!!

Perhaps one of the most tragic ironies of history – the African American embrace of Christianity; a type of mass Stockholm syndrome:
“Slaves, obey your earthly masters with deep respect and fear. Serve them sincerely as you would serve Christ. ” (Ephesians 6:5 NLT)
