What do U think Jesus was REALLY trying to accomplish with his ministry?

Do U consider he was perplexing to shift the stream religions of his time or do U consider he longed for the sum shift to come about?
If so, do U consider he achieved his goal?

We’ll never really know. If he actually existed, whatever he said and whatever he stood for has been twisted and misinterpreted for thousands of years by people who used his mission for their own purposes.

  2. I am Says:

Peace and love. Same as me.

  3. synthesizemecaptain1 Says:

    JESUS WAS A JEW
    SHABAT SHALOM

  4. Jeanmarie Says:

Jesus came for one reason. To die for the sins of the world.

NOT to be a good teacher, not to get married, not for any other reason.

He told Peter this was his reason for coming here.

  5. virgil Says:

he really didn’t do shit, he died not for our sins but for the sins of those before him.

  6. allie_gator_opps Says:

I think he wanted to simplify the current religion of the times. He did, and in doing so he revolutionized they way poeple loved.

  7. eruio4 Says:

The bible proves that Jesus was merciful to the sinners, he sacrificed a lot so that we could be forgiven by God.

His goal was to bring love into people’s hearts. His goal was to make people repent their sins (really examine yourself and where you come short from living a godly life) WWJD?

  8. The Apostle Says:

No, He was not trying to alter religions. He was completing the salvation of humanity.

Jesus paid the fine for the laws that you broke.

  9. Franhusda Says:

Luke 19:10 For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.

And the "lost" He was talking about was "Israel"

May God bless you as you study His Word

  10. Mariah Says:

Everything, every messiah, every claimed messenger of God has ever only tried to accomplish peace…

I also think that it wouldn’t have killed you to type out the word "you".

  11. Brookie Says:

To be honest I think he wanted to help those around him and tell them that its ok to be poor and to act as a role model. He touched so many lives with his tragically short life even today people come to tears when they think about what Jesus sacrificed for us. So yes I think he accomplished his goal which I think was to persuade others to live a better life and do good onto others.

    luke 10:19

    yes He’s in full control

  13. Anama Says:

Kinder, gentler Judaism centered on a personal relationship with God. Learning to forgive and show compassion was another big idea.
Did he mean to create a separate religion? I doubt it.
this is a very interesting question, by the way!

  14. Agent Smith Says:

    Jesus’ mission is no secret.

Jesus came to proclaim the coming Kingdom of God.

Jesus showed us a new way.

    Jesus was amazing.

It is all in the Bible. It is complicated to explain and is one of those things you must discover yourself. Well, not yourself, but try learning through G-d’s Holy Spirit, not through man. It is funny how Christians will believe in the end time. Trouble and all. Yet go to church on Sunday and listen to a man. Billions of people will die in the end time weather it is by man or G-d’s wrath. Either way the message is the same. Men are evil, but they continue to put their faith in man. Amazing .

That we could all have a holiday under his figure head.

  17. gabriela Says:

spread some common sense. unfortunately his "followers" turned it into the exact thing he was trying to avoid: a religion filled with dogma and hate for outsiders.

  18. pugjw9896 Says:

Jesus was sent to CHANGE the way people worshipped God. They had been practicing the same Jewish traditions for 1500 years. So ALMIGHTY GOD JEHOVAH sent his son for our benefit.
All that was required was obedience.
    Most did not.
The ones that did, although they eventually died as people, were granted immortality as the ‘chosen ones’ the 144,000. These are taken not only from those early Christians but from all nations and times.
.”(Acts 10:35) but in every nation the man that fears him and works righteousness is acceptable to him.

To ‘fear’ is not to be terrified but to be obedient.

  19. BJK Says:

obviously he wanted to defeat the Knights of the Templar from ruling the world

  20. Last one threw Says:

I feel he came…To show there is not one specific higher than the one he knew which was forgivness and love. He came at a time of Almost world domination by Roman controlled belief. He never wanted you to know who he was he just wanted you to know the best/rite way to live to survive. And love one another.
