		<description>You should have a federal EIN, even if you do not have employees.  You would need to file Form SS-4 to get a number.

Exempt organizations under section 501(c)(3) still file annual tax returns.  You would file Form 990 or 990-EZ.

Here&#039;s an IRS tax guide for churches.  You should read it thoroughly, you&#039;ll find a lot of useful information.
