There’s always going to be people that criticize that it’s not holy enough or whatever b/c it’s the not the kind of music they like. God doesn’t change, but methods to reach people do. This is the kind of music that reaches the younger generation. That’s my opinion anyway.

would rather see them up praising the Lord like this than for them to be using they’re talents in a night club.I do believe they would still praise the Lord without the music, without the special effects. Most of these young people are working there way through college and not getting student loans to do it.They have to work hard to sing and play this way.How about lifting them up instead of bringing them down.I pray the Lord Blesses everyone of them.

Jazzymoe, just because you don’t like this style of music doesn’t mean it’s ungodly. I don’t like country music, and I know a lot of oldtime pentecostal songs that are country-ish. but I don’t feel the need to cause chaos over it. You seem to not understand that Satan stole things from us, and now we want it back. I have my praise back, that I can praise God without shame. I have my relationship back with God that I allowed Satan to steal, and that Adam and Eve allowed satan to take away.

I AGREE with you! From their worship (choreographed) to the music. It’s a shame, and quite sad, that Pentecostal churches everywhere are allowing the world to influence the song books and musicians. If I’m gonna compromise my standards and listen to junk (and yes, this is junk), then I may as well throw in a punch bowl of Hip Hop . . . or some hard rock. It’s sad that pastors allow this music in their churches. Shame on them.

  23. jazzymoe Says:

    p.s it’s not anointed either.

  24. jazzymoe Says:

choreographed worship. Yeah… God gets glory. Not. And… maybe God wants it all back. Our worship is supposed to be unadulterated and yet here our oneness churches are singing songs that sound soooo worldly and their “worship” is choreographed. CUTE. This same song was sung at Western District Youth Convention in California..I was there; it disgusted me. Give me stuff back??? What a ridiculously lame song. I doubt God likes this song.
